How does the scavenger hunt work?
Register online or at the park the day of the event as an individual or a team of up to four. Pick up your passport at Cesar Chavez Park, follow the map and gather points by going to sponsor locations and answering questions to get your passport stamped. To receive points for visiting specific merchants, you must have a stamp in your passport from that location. If you make a purchase at a scavenger hunt stop you will receive double points.
How do I qualify to win prizes?
Dress up for the hunt (best costume prize – animals and humans alike are eligible).
Finish the hunt first (prize for fastest finish - individual and team).
Gather the most points (prize for most points - individual and team).
Be at Cesar Chavez Park by 2:00 p.m. with as many points as you can collect. You will be entered into drawings for a number of fabulous prizes depending on how many points you collect along the Tenn-Low Turismo route.
If you want a leg-up on the competition, register early (before
midnight Thursday, August 27th) AND receive the super secret double point locations! The map will be e-mailed August 28, 2009 only to those on
